General Information
Your order will be processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
All orders placed on this website ship from the United States.

Shipping Rates and Estimates
We currently ship to over 75 countries worldwide.
We are pleased to offer the following special rates for single book orders:
- United States: FREE shipping to all 50 states (Media Mail, 2-8 business days)
- Canada: Discounted airmail shipping (all provinces) (expedited, 50% off, 5-7 business days)
- Australia: Discounted airmail shipping (standard, 40% off, 7-10 business days)
- Discounted airmail shipping to most countries in Europe (standard, up to 25% off, 7-10 business days)
Exact shipping charges for your order and any relevant taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Taxes and Import Duties
🗽Customers in New York State:
We are required to collect U.S. sales tax for orders shipped to New York state. Tax is calculated based on shipping address and as a percentage of the order total including shipping costs. Any applicable sales tax will be visible at checkout before you complete your order.
If you hold a valid resale certificate or are ordering on behalf of a tax exempt institution, please email us at orders@mariloupress.com before placing your order (we are unable to refund sales tax paid on previous orders).
🇨🇦 Customers in Canada:
At present, no GST, HST and/or PST apply to our book orders shipped to Canada via standard airmail. However, orders over CAD $150 may be subject to import duties, which are incurred once a shipment reaches Canada. Marilou Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
🇪🇺 Customers in the European Union:
Where applicable, VAT is included at the at time of purchase for orders sent via standard airmail. Orders over €150 may also be subject to import duties, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Marilou Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
🇬🇧 Customers in the United Kingdom:
No VAT applies to our book orders shipped to the UK via standard airmail. However, orders over £135 may be subject to import duties, which are incurred once a shipment reaches the UK. Marilou Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
🇦🇺 Customers in Australia:
We are in the process of obtaining an ABN (Australian Business Number) in order to include GST for orders sent via standard airmail. At present, orders shipped to Australia do not include GST and may be subject to import duties and taxes. Marilou Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
🌐 Customers in other countries:
Your order may be subject to both import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Marilou Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery for undamaged books that are still in their original shrink wrapping. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at orders@mariloupress.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis, but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
